What hours are you open?
We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year from 7 am until 10 pm. We allow you to start washing as late as 10 pm and stay until you are finished folding your laundry.
Are you a coin laundry or a card store?
Actually, our laundromat uses tokens. We have several change machines so you can purchase the tokens. We even have a bill-breaking machine so you can change your $20 into smaller bills so you can buy only the amount of tokens that you need. One advantage of using tokens is that we have $1 tokens as well as $.25 tokens so that if you use a large machine, it takes less time to use the larger tokens.
Can I use a credit card at Super Suds Laundromat?
Yes, you can use it to purchase tokens or for doing your fluff and fold.
How do I know which machine to use and how do I use it?
Our wash house is fully attended and always has at least one or more attendants to help you.
Is there anything special about your washing machines?
All of our Continental washing machines are 400G machines. Most laundries have machines that are 100G as they are less expensive to purchase. Our 400G machines spin out so much of the water that it takes far less time to dry your clothes. You can be in and out of our lavanderia in just an hour.
How do I sign up for the rewards program and how much does it cost?
Our rewards program is absolutely free! Ask one of our attendants to sign up and they will add you into our system. Every third time that you use our laundry, you will get a reward. Sometimes it is a free wash or free dry for your laundry. At other times, it is a free drink or a nylon laundry bag. You'll love there rewards. We do not share your information with any outside company!
What is the Ozone that is used in your washeteria?
Ozone is active oxygen that acts as a water purifier. It will destroy bacteria, viruses, mod and mildew, leaving your clothes completely sanitized. It will also sanitize the washing machine. This is hospital-grade sanitation. It works best in cold water! Your clothes will be cleaner and more sanitized if you use cold water.
Commercial Laundry Service FAQ
Do I need to sign a contract?
No contract is required for commercial laundry customers. We will earn your business each and every time we launder your items.
How often do you pick-up and deliver?
We do pickup and delivery laundry service 7 days a week. We do pickups from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We will work with our customers on an individual basis to create a schedule that works for you.
What is the turnaround time for commercial pickup and delivery?
Our turnaround time is 24 hours, however some of our commercial customers prefer we pick up the dirty clothes on Friday and return them on Monday. We will work around your schedule.
Do we create an online account for our commercial business?
To create an account for your business, please contact us at 562-436-1859 or email@example.com and we will create the account for you. We will be adding the ability to manage your account online in the near future.
I work with a medical group and want to know how you make sure the laundry is sanitized properly?
Super Suds Laundromat uses an ozone system in all of it's washing machines. This system sanitizes your laundry and removes 99.9% of all bacteria and viruses. Our system is hospital approved!
Fluff and Fold Questions
When can I drop off my clothes?
You can drop off your clothes for us to wash and fold anytime between 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. We are always attended.
Is there a minimum amount of clothing?
Our minimum wash and fold is 10 pounds.
What is the turnaround time for wash and fold?
Generally, most orders are scheduled for the next day. You can, for an additional charge and if we have the time to do so, get same-day fluff and fold service.
What products do you use for fluff and fold?
We offer Tide and Downy. These are the best products on the market. We also have scent-free, non-allergenic products.
Why do you use Ozone with your fluff and fold?
We added a very expensive Ozone Water System to our laundromat because of Covid. This "active oxygen" will sanitize your clothes. It also sanitizes the washing machine that your clothes will be washed in. Your clothes will be cleaner and softer with Ozone. This sanitation system us used in hospitals.
Pickup and Delivery Questions
Do you have pickup & delivery service?
Yes! We now offer pickup and delivery service. If you know that you would like regular laundry pickup service, you can sign up for weekly or biweekly service. This service will be $1.80 a pound. If you want one-time service or sporadic service without any commitment of future orders, it is $1.90 a pound. We have a $35 minimum on all pickup and delivery orders.
Do I have to be home when you pick up or deliver my clothes?
No, but when scheduling the service, please provide clear instructions indicating where we can find your clothes and where to drop them off. Please ensure that you have a secure place to leave your clothes and not visible from the street. Some places people often choose are on the front porch, the back porch, in an unlocked garage, behind the gate, or with the apartment manager. If your building requires a code to enter please inform us at the time of placing the order.
Do you fold or hang my clothes?
We are open to special requests. If you don't specify, we typically hang the more formal items like collared shirts and slacks. Then we protect them in a clear plastic garment bag. We'll fold everything else and package it for your protection.
Do you separate whites from colors?
We separate whites, lights and darks into different machines. We also pull out delicate items and place them in a special laundry bag to further protect them.
How do I schedule an order online?
It's simple. Simply click on the Schedule a Pickup button.
When I schedule an online order, how will I be billed?
When the order is completed, we bill your credit card and email you an invoice.
Can I make a special request on how I want my laundry done?
Of course! During the account setup process you will be able to add your personal preferences that will be followed for each and every order. In addition, when you place a fluff and fold order, you will be able to create specific instructions for that individual order.
Can I change my wash & fold preferences?
Yes, you can log into your online account and change your preferences as often as you like.
What us the turnaround time?
Your washed and folded clothes will be returned to you the day after we pick them up.
Can I get texts instead of emails?
Yes, you can log into your online account and change your preferences as often as you like.
Is there any contract or long-term commitment?
None whatsoever. You can cancel or suspend your account at any time. If you have signed up for recurring, please let us know if you are going on vacation or want to suspend your account. We don't want to waste our driver's time and gas by having them go to your home for no reason!
Is there a delivery charge?
There is no laundry pickup or delivery fees.
Is there a minimum charge?
We have a minimum charge of $35. This amounts to about 20 pounds.
How do I change my billing?
To update your credit card, log into your account, under billing information select "Update Credit Card Information" and enter your new credit card information.
How do I cancel my laundry service?
You must cancel before 6:00 a.m. in your account on the day the service is to be picked up. Or you can call Super Suds at 7:00 a.m. at (562) 436-1859. If you would like to cancel your weekly service, you can place your account on hold and we will not return to do laundry pickup/delivery until we hear from you.
Can I share an account with my roommate?
You are allowed to do so, but then your clothing will be mixed together. If you each have a separate account, but choose to have your pickup and delivery days on the same day, at the same time, we will combine the two orders together to give you the minimum order of $35.
What if I have large bedding items? Are they charged by the pound?
Large items such as comforters and pillows are charged by the piece. You can find the prices on our pricing page.
What do I put my laundry in?
You can use a laundry bag or even a large trash bag. If you want to purchase a laundry bag from us, we will add the cost to your bill. Just call us and we can send you a bag. When you send your laundry in our nylon bag, we launder it when we launder your clothes. We will then put your clothes in the plastic bags and back in the nylon bag for added protection for your wash and fold.
I missed my pickup day. Is there a missed pickup fee?
We have put in place email and text reminders to help you remember. However, if you do forget to leave your laundry out, we reserve the right to charge a missed laundry pickup fee to cover driver costs.
What is the latest that I could schedule a pickup?
If you schedule your pickup by 6:00 a.m. the day of your pickup, it is the normal fee. If you decided mid-day that you need the pickup done, the price per pound is more. We do have same say pickup but there is a larger charge.
Can I have contactless pickup?
Absolutely, we know that this is safer for you and for our drivers. Just tells us where we should pick up your laundry or deliver it and we will do so. We will text you that it is delivered so you can get it immediately.
Can you do laundry pickup and delivery to my place of work?
Absolutely. We can pickup and drop off your clothes at any address in our service area.
Can I put my pickups on hold while I'm on vacation or out of town?
If you are going to be away, just log into your account and place your account on "hold" until you return.
What detergent, softener, dryer sheets and bleaches does Super Suds offer?
We offer Tide, Downy and Bounce as our standard. We also have a scent free alternative that you can request.
Is Ozone always used?
Super Suds has an Ozone system. This is a natural oxygen that sanitizes your clothes. Ozone will kill 99.9% of all bacteria and viruses. Our entire laundromat is plumbed for Ozone. Not only will your clothes be sanitized, but the washing machine is sanitized as well. Ozone will also make your clothes softer and smell better.
Can I change or update my laundry profile?
Yes, some customers always want their clothing laundered the same way. Others change it weekly depending on what clothing they are having washed.
Can I make special requests on the way my laundry is done?
We do our best to accommodate every request. Let us know how you want your laundry done by putting it in your profile.
Do you treat stains?
Please put any clothing that needs special attention in a small bag with a note on what you need done. We will do the best we can. If, however, you pretreat a stain as soon as it happens, the odds go up that it will be successful in removing the stain.
What safety measures are you taking with Covid-19
We are willing to do contactless laundry pickup and delivery. You can leave your clothing on your porch (or other place that you let us know) and we will pick it up without having contact with you. We will text you as soon as we deliver or remove your laundry. We wash your clothes using Ozone which will remove 99.9% of
all bacteria and viruses from your clothing. This is hospital-grade sanitation.
Are you closed on Federal Holidays?
We do not do laundry pickup/delivery on Thanksgiving,
Christmas, New Years, Easter and the 4th of July.
Do you offer Dry Cleaning?
Yes we do and will pick up your dry cleaning at the same time as we pick up your fluff and fold. Please place your dry cleaning in a separate bag and label it. Dry cleaning takes three days. If you are sending us both dry cleaning and fluff and fold, you will receive both back in three days. If you need your fluff and fold back the following day, let us now. We can do that.
How does my laundry get weighed?
We weigh your clothing before and after we launder your clothing. The clothing is charged based on the “after weight”. Sometimes, our customers send
in clothes that are wet or damp. Wet clothes and towels weigh more than dry ones so we don’t
want to charge you for wet clothes.
