What is Green Dry Cleaning?
What is Green Dry Cleaning?
Traditional dry cleaners use Perchloroethylene (Perc) when dry cleaning clothes. Perc is a man-made liquid solvent used in dry cleaning and other industries. Perc has been proven to be a toxic air contaminant and a probable human carcinogen. The most direct risk is to dry cleaning workers but also the consumer. The EPA has found clothes dry cleaned with Perc can elevate levels of the chemical throughout a home.
That is why Super Suds has moved its dry cleaning to a Green Dry Cleaner. A Green Dry Cleaner is classified as a dry cleaner that does not use Perc. We want to keep our customers safe from carcinogens and do our part to protect the environment. So if you are using our Newport laundry service or our laundry service in Anaheim give us some of your dry cleaning as well as your dirty laundry. We will get those clothes cleaned for you in a way that is safer for you and the planet.
